A new Quality Standard

Peat-free compost tells gardeners what is not in the compost but doesn’t explain what it contains and whether it is right for different growing needs. Plants need different things at different times and it is important to choose the right compost for what is required.

To give gardeners more confidence and to help them make better choices we are actively working with the sector to create a new Quality Assurance Mark. More information will follow as this work develops.
